Posted - 11/22/2006 : 18:16:39 Alex sat casually in the sand of the Harbor, his novice cloak collecting sand in its rolled up ball beside him. Situated next to the cloak were his sandals, sand already in them. He was wearing a light linen shirt, the sleeves rolled up, and regular old trousers. Al's legs were stuck out infront of him, toes close to The teen was leaning on his hands, chin to his chest, and his eyes looking out to the sea.
Alex was being lazy, plain enough, for the past hour or so. He was practicing with his water manipulation. Instead he had watched the sunset, and now night was settling over the Harbor, as ships lights came on. Eventually he stood up, and walked closer to the tide, his feet now touching the wet sand. Quietly, he dipped closer, and stretched his hands out. One last spell before turning into the night.
As the tide ascended the shoreline, he used his magic to direct the water around himself. In doing such, he stayed dry as the waves came in. With a cock-eyed smile, he backed up away from the water, and stood where the water has not yet reached. |

Posted - 12/21/2006 : 22:08:38 Cahira nodded, still grinning. Picking up one of the chunks of glass, she held it in her cupped hand. The blob melted into a puddle in her palm, dripping between her fingers into icicle-like shapes. When she shook her hand, they fell off, clinking together as they landed in the sand, giving off a musical tinkling.
Pushing herself upright, the street rat swayed for a moment before regaining her balance. Where she had put her hands down, the sand had melted into two glass handprints. |

Posted - 12/21/2006 : 17:28:12 Alex raised his eyebrows slowly in a small insight of surprise at the talent she seemed to have. It wasn't every day one met a street rat with magic. With fire magic - even if he still did have the better advantage. "I see," He told her, staring at one of the balls of glass. Slowly he put out a finger to lightly poke it, his finger retreating quickly. They were still warm.
"Heh... That's interesting..." |

Posted - 12/18/2006 : 19:06:37 Cahira sighed. "Fine," she replied with a long-suffering tone. Realizing that her neck was getting tired, she looked down and began to idly poke the sand. Where her finger touched it, the sand glowed an orangish-red, then cooled into a blob of glass. At first she was surprised, then let out a delighted giggle and continued with her new game.
Looking back up, the streetrat grinned at Alex. "Look what I did!" she slurred. |

Posted - 12/18/2006 : 18:51:06 Alex shrugged his shoulders, a crooked grin still on his tanned features. "I might've preformed the task but you tempted it - I'm not a mind reader, y'know." He commented, not remembering if he was actually asked to go away when she was staggering about. At the inquiry of another drink, he cocked up an eyebrow, a look of 'Aren't you drunk enough?' Besides, he didn't have his purse with him.
"Eh, another night I guess. I've no money on me." Well, he really did owe her one. Stupid sand. |

Posted - 12/17/2006 : 20:29:08 Cahira made a face. "I like gettin' drunk," she replied groggily. "Besides, if'n you'd just've let me drink meself out in peace like I wanted, I wouldn't 've 'ad to be rude," she added after a moment of thought. "So you made the might've a will do, not me." Putting her hands behind her, she pushed herself up into a sitting position and squinted up at Alex.
"You owe me a new bottle o' whiskey," the streetrat said suddenly, her eyes crossed drunkenly. |

Posted - 12/16/2006 : 22:12:59 Alex shrugged his shoulders idly, analyzing what the woman said rather quickly. "If being drunk is your interpretation of a dandy good time, then I suppose you should have fun." He think looked up for a moment, unfocusing his eyes from the woman below him, before looking down to her. "Might've, is the key word here. You put yourself in the position to make the might've a will do." |

Posted - 12/16/2006 : 22:02:13 Cahira blinked owlishly, trying to wade through what Alex had said. It was not easy with liquor fogging her mind and her lack of education, but eventually she managed to make some sense of it. "But y' said y' make a 'abit of it, so y' might've splashed me any how," she replied slowly, narrowing her eyes as she muddled her way through the sentence. "So, if'n I'm gonna get splashed either way, I might as well enjoy meself afor 'and, aye?" |

Posted - 12/16/2006 : 20:44:20 Alex just rolled his eyes again at her a comment, "No one deserves anything to be done or said them. They just put themselves in the position, without realizing. Besides," He stated, wiggling his nose a bit, still feeling dirty, "I make a regular habit of splashing people with water." Did he just hold a somewhat intelligent conversation with a drunk? Ah well, life is short. With that theory in mind, he wasn't going to let down the debate - or arguement - and especially to a girl.
"Maybe you wouldn't of gotten water on your face if you stayed conscious, and weren't rude during past conscious state. With that in saying, but you being drunk and purging simply put you in the position to get splashed by water." Alex said all that rather fast paced, his voice rising and falling in pitch as he spoke. He was trying to keep his voice low - why yell? - but it kept wanting to speak at its normal volume. |

Posted - 12/16/2006 : 18:12:07 Cahira coughed and blew water out of her nose when the sphere hit her in the face. "Nay, but I think ye've deserved it more'n any'un I've done it to afore," she replied, wiping her face off with her arm. "An' as for drinkin' alone, I'm doin' it because I like bein' by meself. No'un splashes water in me face that way," she added, wrinkling her nose unhappily. |

Posted - 12/16/2006 : 17:48:49 Alex froze in his spot for a moment, as the liquid was spat back at him. He wasn't very girly, but even on his standards that was just nasty. So, he promptly dropped the remaining water in sphere on her face. No where else for it to go. Standing up again, a frown on his own features, as he took the water-spit mixture off his face. It came out in a strand rather then a sphere.
"Well, it is." The novice retorted, letting his magic drop from the line it was in. "Boy or girl, that was nasty. No wonder you're drinking alone. Bet I wasn't the first you've done that too." He just didn't know when to quit; well he does, he just lacks the capacity. |

Posted - 12/13/2006 : 21:21:51 Cahira scowled up at the young man, but hazy eyes and flushed cheeks didn't make for a very intimidating glare. Despite her irritation, she did as she was instucted, managing to get a mouthful of liquid. Swishing it about, she heard his remark about being entertained by her predicament, and promptly spat the water out at him. Had her head not been throbbing and her stomach churning, she would have done more, but as it was she simply laid back down in the sand, trying to keep from wretching. |

Posted - 12/13/2006 : 19:24:05 Alex let out whole-hearted laugh at her response. "No one's supposed to feel good after emptying liquour from their stomachs. You're not the only sad soul to get into this predictiment." The novice was quite amused, a goofy grin on his face. "Just take a sip. It's easy just put your lips up to it and... suck in. This far to amusing to leave." Perhaps it was a bit low, taking a bit of advantage now that she was undebatably hung over. |

Posted - 12/10/2006 : 14:41:06 Cahira slowly lowered the arm across her eyes and squinted at the sphere. Unless she was very much mistaken, water usually did not behave in such a manner. After a moment, she shook her head and closed her eyes again, mumbling something along the lines of a refusal. It seemed unnatural, and besides, how was one supoosed to drink a sphere.
"Go 'way," the young woman groaned. "I du' wanna deal w' you. I du' feel good." |

Posted - 12/10/2006 : 10:57:44 Alex brought at hand up to his mouth to hide his smirk and muffle surpressed sniggering. The reaction was quite amusing on his part - lack of taking stuff seriously was great fun. On his part moreso than others. Crossing one arm over his torso, he watched the girl feel the affects of the drink. Why was he such a nice person? Stupid honest streak - it might be the death of him one day.
As the tide came back in, he withdrew some water again, cleaning it, and this sphere turned out much smaller then the other one. Stroding to the female, he put the small sphere to her face. "You might want to rinse - it'll taste better." |

Posted - 12/07/2006 : 21:40:41 Cahira's eyes snapped open as she sputtered, drenched in the cold water. Swearing as she sat up, she wiped it from her nose and eyes, then groaned and held her head as her temples began to throb. The taste of liquor and vomit was still fresh in her mouth, and her now empty stomach was still churning.
Lying back down in the sand, the young woman curled up, one arm across her middle, the other covering her eyes. She didn't even notice Alex as she moaned quietly, feeling decidedly ill. |
