OOC Rules
1. Please treat your fellow players with respect. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinions, but please don’t insult or harass other players. Arguments and personality clashes do occur, but do not let them get out of hand and disrupt the rest of the board.
2. Keep language to a PG or PG-13 level. I realize that most players will be accustomed to stronger language, but I don’t want anyone to be exposed to bad language for the first time here.
3. Please put up a notice of absence if you are going to be gone for more than a week.
4. What happens In-Character, stays In-Character. What happens Out of Character, stays Out of Character.
IC Rules
1. Aim for a minimum of seven to ten sentences per in character post. I am aware that sometimes this can be difficult, and will allow a certain amount of flexibility, but try to keep the post length up. Doing so will make it easier for other players to do the same. One-liners or stutter posting will not be tolerated.
2. Please check your grammar and spelling. Everyone makes typos, but repeated grammatical or spelling errors make posts difficult to read and understand. Offenders will be warned, and if the problem persists, may have their posting privileges restricted.
3. Controlling other characters other than your own without permission is not permitted. Any posts doing so will be immediately deleted, no questions asked, unless it is stated in the post that permission to control the character has been given by the character’s creator.
4. Your character is not god. I expect this to be a fairly low combat board, but if your character does get into a fight, play realistically and take a few hits. On the same not, don’t automatically hit the other character. The player of said character will decide whether or not their character will take a hit.
5. Keep topic content and language at a PG-13 level. If you think your topic may exceed this level, post a warning in the title of the topic.
6. Do not run away with topics, and try to keep everyone included, which means, mind the timezones! For example, there are three characters in a thread and it starts out fine, until only two out of three are online at the same time. Innocently they began to post back and forth to eachother. Poor character number three has been completely left out. Don't let this happen.
7. The Admin holds every right to reject a character application for any plausible reasons. It can be from failure to comply to the rules, or read them, and suggestions to make your character acceptable.
